Step-by-Step Guide to Clean Dirty Data Using Power Query Let’s break down the process of transforming messy data into clean, analysis-ready insights. 1. Import Data into Power Query Open Excel and go to the Data tab. Click on Get Data > From Workbook (or from your preferred data source). Select the sheet that contains your dirty data. Power Query Editor will open with a preview of your data. 2. Handle Missing or Null Values Look for empty cells or missing data. Use the Replace Values, Remove Rows, or Fill Down/Up features to fix them. Tip: Power Query lets you fill missing values using logic instead of doing it manually. 3.
